While soon-to-be hubs is off with the boys to celebrate his last few days as a "free" man, of course I'm at home taking care of the last minute wedding planning. Since I've been stressing over the place cards for the last 4 hours, there's a need for a break! Unfortunately there isn't anything good on Saturday nights, (or even Friday nights?! What gives?) so after flipping through a million channels, I've just stopped to watch "Annie Hall" on the IFC channel. Thank god for the Independent Film Channel, they tend to play those interesting movies that you can never catch on those other cable channels that ALWAYS plays those same freaking movies such as the Lord of the Rings... (Don't get me wrong, I liked the movie, but only the first 3 times I watched in on tv out of BOREDOM.)
Watching this movie makes me realize how Diane Keaton was a beautiful actress, and that she has aged very very well! The young Christopher Walken was an interesting looking man... not as creepy as now, but quite unique.
I enjoy looking at old photos of celebs, fashion designers, anyone famous and so you can compare them from when they were young and how they've aged. I understand now how (older) people used to say that when you're young, you don't need to cover your face with makeup. Lately I've been noticing how young women/men have this certain... freshness(?) to them. I'm talking about the years between teenage til early 20s. Really, at that age it seems like they don't need to cover up their faces with makeup because they look better without it!
So yes, it's a Saturday night and I'm watching Annie Hall, feeling the cool late summer/early fall(?) breeze, writing gibberish on my oh so little blog... while our petite dog doses off on her cushion. Life is good... ah... (It will be better after this wedding. LOL.)

HoooRAAAAh!
Finally, it's here!!
I didn't purchase it YET, but I will once the verdict is in regarding the camera quality.
As much as I love my itouch (and sure, it has done a great job with all my abuse to it) I always wanted a camera function like the iphone. D (Soon to be hubs) has the iphone and I usually use his for gps and taking snap shots of price tags or something. Now... if itouch had the gps function without needing 3g... damn that would be HOT. I doubt that I'd ever get the iphone, even though D squeals every time Steve Jobs releases a new version of it. (He has the 3gs and now wants the 4. I'm putting my foot down and told him he can get iphone 5... when it comes out.)
Realistically speaking, no matter how you try to convince me, I would never want to combine my itouch and my cell phone together. I use my itouch extensively and just using it alone in one day I have drained the battery from 100% to 0% many many times. What would happen if all of a sudden I need to use my phone? Hence the separation of my two handy devices. I love to play games while going somewhere in the subway or waiting in general. Having the two devices not sharing one battery leaves me being worry free about the possibility of using up all my battery while playing games or doing something functional, and I can still get/make calls. Separate two devices = peace of mind for people like me that worry about all the little things that many others may not care about. Oh well, that's just me I guess... (Although I'm sure there are others that may share the same concern.)
Also, not to bash the iphone or anything, but I did hear that the new iphone 4's battery usage isn't as good as the older ones due to its multitasking function. Obviously it's a good new function, but by doing several tasks all together, you're using that much more of resource/(battery)power, leaving you with a dead cell phone at the end of the day... or even earlier if you don't carry around the charger.
Anyways... love Apple, love the itouch, but I'll have to see what people say regarding the video/camera function. I'll snatch it up as long as people don't say "the pics are tooooo blurry.." I doubt that would happen though.

Starting from scratch
Well, I suppose it's not really starting up from "scratch," since I'm kinda cheating my way into the blogging world without knowing html codes and such. Thank goodness for websites such as blogger, wordpress, etc! Blogging isn't too complicated after-all!
While it may not make sense to take up a side project such as blogging, just a couple of days before getting hitched, well, who said I was always the sensible one when it came to doing certain things?
Things like... staying up late and having a horrible time waking up hasn't changed much since I was a wee student. Perhaps it may never change... only time will tell, and my soon to be hubby will know my odd habits. I've already had the pleasure of shocking him with my odd quirks many times throughout the years we've been together, and he sure must have been ok with it since he put a ring on it! <Insert Beyonce's "Single ladies" song and do the leotard dance too.>
As the days til the wedding keeps getting shorter and shorter, and realizing how much of a life change it will be, there's this certain euphoria and fear that interchanges between one another. (I must be PMSing, that could be it too.) However it may be, it's something that we both look forward to, either because we're so sick of planning this wedding and we just want to go on our honeymoon already OR we can't wait to be husband and wife! (I have a strong urge to say it's the first option though. HA!)
The purpose of this blog has yet to be determined, but I believe it'll be my source of self expression, whether it may be for complaining over silly ordeals in life, raving about products that I cannot shut up about, or ogling over furry animals, babies, hot celebs, who knows?! We shall see...
Adieu for now... my little blog.
